Our storySlang was born from an idea developed by two
students. While Diego, Slang’s co‑founder and CEO, was completing his MBA, he realized that he and his friends lacked the appropriate vocabulary to fully grasp the business cases they were reading. As a result, their learning experience was frustrating and slow.
Diego had previously faced similar challenges with field‑specific English for the employees of his companies in Latin America. He soon came to realize that the problem was a broader one: no English‑learning solution on the market could meet the needs of professionals and businesses — needs that go beyond basic English.
